To meet the needs of our clients, Seagren and Associates, CPA was established as a CPA firm to provide accounting, tax and business advisory services to corporations, small businesses and individuals throughout Alaska including Juneau, Anchorage, Fairbanks and more. Recongnizing that each client has unique goals, we tailor our services to meet your specific needs. To better meet the needs of our clients, we have developed customized services for clients in industries like Real Estate Accounting, Fishing and more. These individualized services have enabled us to address their industry specific challenges, compliance needs and standard tax practices.
John Seagren, CPA
John has a strong focus on business development and tax planning. He has been practicing accounting for more than ten years. His experience includes project management, and design and implementation of electronic payment systems. John has a varied entrepreneurial experience which includes real estate, an inn, a gift shop, and international trade businesses. His entrepreneurial skills and experience give his small business clients an edge.
John has lived in Alaska for more than 24 years. He has a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. John was awarded the Monbusho (Japanese Ministry of Education) Scholarship and undertook two years of graduate studies in international trade at Yamaguchi University, Japan.
John is a licensed CPA in Alaska and is an active member of the AICPA and the Alaska Society of CPAs. He holds an Accredited ACH Professional credential (electronic payment systems) and is an active member of the Northwest Clearing House Association.
John's other activities include serving on the board of International Educational Initiatives, Inc., a global educational non-profit corporation, and serving the Bahá'í community of Juneau. |
